Well I am back, well and very happy! I have a new job now, finally was able to find something to better my life and get out of that hell of a job I had before... I am very very happy, a lot more relaxed and it shows!
Alex is over 18 months now, walking, talking, loves to doodle with crayons, that is his new favorite activity. He is a wonderful little boy who is ready to explore the world!
Mike is well also, nothing new with him now.
I will try to write more, but now I have things to do... lol

Averaging a post per month
It is looking like I can't seem to do more than one post per month... way to busy with life.
Work sucks, and I still have not been able to find another job, working on it and we will see.
Alex is doing great, he stared going to Kindercare 4 days a week now, instead of 3, it is better for all of us, expensive, but better...
Mike is good, working away, also looking for a change in the near future...
That is all I have now... because nothing new is happening.

I'm really bad at this
I just haven't had time to blog, so busy between keeping up with my family, keeping my house together and trying to figure out my job situation...yet somehow I am making it work.
Alex is standing now, not walking yet, but getting close! he is blabbing a lot, can say a few basic words but nothing that is clear yet, except for the traditional mama, dada... it is cute how he knows who is who!
My newest adventure, I am becoming a notary, yes I said a notary. It is something I've wanted to do for a while, not just for work but I think it is a good skill to have. i am not looking to make it a business, not yet anyway, but I think it is worth the investment to get certified. We will see how it goes!
We have a few summer trips coming up, first up Idaho in two weeks! Looking forward to it,a s I have never really been there, drove through it once, but that was not a very interesting experience. We are also going to Wisconsin this summer. Looking like an eventful year ahead, I can't believe it is almost halfway done!

Happy 1st Birthday Alexander!
Yep, it has been that long!
My little man turned 1 today!
he is the best baby boy ever (not that I have any other baby to compare him to) and I am so blessed to have him in my life.
We are all happy and love watching him grow!

I've been missing you...
Sorry blog, sorry readers... I've fallen off the face of the earth.
Its been a crazy last few weeks. I've been struggling at work a lot and have been actively looking for a new job with no success. Then I realized that this is what I was dealt and I need to make the best of it and give it another shot...crappy economy or not... so I am. I've changed my attitude and I'm trying new things to turn my goals around. Its been a week so I have no results yet.
I am going to get a few certifications done this year through work, maybe that will help with my eventual move into the HR field...
(To those who don't know I'm in sales for Wells Fargo)
Mike is doing great at work as usual, he loves being a sports writer at the Fairfield DR, he is good at it. He does a lot more than he should but I think it will pay off in the long run. He is the best daddy ever. Alex absolutely adores his "dada". Its great to see the boys on MOndays when Mike is off, they play, go to the park, go to charm the girls at Target... Mike makes a great Mr. Mom! :)
Alexander is 10 months old next week! Time flies! I'm already planning his first birthday party. I can't believe my little munchkin will be one in April. He is crawling all over the place, pulling up into standing, even trying to take a few steps holding onto something...craziness! He has developed quite a little personality, a little bit of attitude and brattiness, can't say I'm surprised. He's a mama's boy!
We have our 10 month check up in a few weeks, but form what I can see our little man is thriving, happy and learning new things every day.
Teeth are almost here, but have not broken through yet!
I will try to update more frequently.. have a great weekend readers! :)

Happy New Year!
It's 2010!
Happy New year!
2009 was the best year of my life, because my son Alexander was born in April! He is the joy of my life and I can't wait to watch him grow into a little man! He is the sweetest little boy I've ever met, and I'm not being biased! :)
I decided not to make any resolutions for this year, I never keep them and then feel like a failure for not being able to achieve the goals that I set... instead I'm going to strive to make small changes in my life that may make a difference, it may take a few months time but I'll be a better person in the end.
Changes don't happen overnight, just like with the economy it will take a few years to recover from this recession. I decided that small changes here and there are going to make my life more productive and complete. The standard starting to exercise is a give, although that is the one thing I have not started. I vowed that I will be better about eating left overs and taking brown bag lunches to work. This I achieved about 50% of the time this last two weeks... I have some work to do!
Another thing I started doing is clipping coupons and going shopping with coupons all stacked, even 50 cents here and there add up!
My biggest gripe last year was how badly my job was going, a few positions I applied for fell through, so I decided to stay put, ride it out, focus on what I have to do and keep looking. While I realize that getting a new job is hard right now, I am really thankful that I have a job, and that it is so flexible!
I could go on and on, but I won't... so with that, happy new year my friends!
