Alex started choking this morning, lucky that Mike heard the "strange noise" on the monitor and went to check on him. Aperantly he had milk coming out of his mouth and nose. Needless to say we freaked out and took him to the emergency room. He got a few x-rays of his chest to make sure he didn't aspirate any of the regurgitated milk, (sorry I know this is gross) and everything is fine. Little guy gave us quite a scare, especially because there is really no way to prevent this from happening again. So he will be coming back to sleep in our room in his cradle for a few more weeks.
The good news is that he has gained a lot of weight, he is 8 lbs 4 oz as of today, so he is thriving.
We are exhausted, our whole day's schedule got thrown off by this overnight stay at the hospital, but I don't care, because my baby boy is fine!
